WELCOME!

I think I’m ready. I’ve put some things in the sidebar and I’ve made things pretty. I cut and paste the entire wine category from my miscellaneous personal blog. So here we are!

My husband Kevin and I are learning all about wine. We’re new at this and having a grand time. We visit wineries; we try new wines; we read; we discover. Now I’m going to document it all right here. This is also an opportunity for me to work on my "descriptive writing." So sit back and learn with us!

In case anyone is curious, the photo at the top was taken by me. I’m pretty sure (although not certain) I was standing in the parking lot of Plumpjack, off the Silverado Trail in Napa, July 4, 2005.
