Have you had some “Sex”? It’s a sparkling wine out of Michigan. I had a taste at a wine bar (Vino Venue) during my last trip to San Francisco and thought it was pretty decent.

I’m a fan of the wines with catchy names, but only if they taste good too.

that seems to be my never ending battle– trying to get “my girls” off the pretty wine labels and on to taste… my mom literally scans the aisles for the cutest ones… shows how presentation can skew the taste buds, I suppose…

Labels like this act as handy advertising – “Bad wine – Do Not Buy”. The problem is they appeal to young drinkers and people who feel confused by the wide choice available so opt for something ‘cute’ in panic.
