Hi there!
We were only in Rochester for less than 24 hours. :-) We had to spend all that time visiting with the godparents.
However, when we visited the area in 2004, we spent a day at Seneca Lake. I was thrilled with the Fox Run Lemberger and can honestly say that while I enjoyed Belhurst and a few others, I absolutely loved Fox Run. We plan on returning when we have more than 2.5 days for the entire area. It's a 10 hour drive after all. :-)
So no worries.

Wait, wait, wait. . .
You mean you came to Rochester, did all that in Canada, but missed all the great Upstate New York wineries? Someday, they will sing songs about Fox Run Reisling in Vallhala, and you missed it! Or then there's the Casa Larga Dolce Bianco: unpretentious and just as tasty as all get out. True, we suffer for a lack of really great reds, but our nearly-German climes make for perfect whites, not to mention ice wines, one of which by Casa Larga has won quite a few awards.
Sheesh, I need to calm down. I'm opening a bottle right now. . . .
