I just got this DVD recently (Since I’m also a fan of Cleese.) I agree that its simplicity and basic nature may have seemed insulting if someone other than Cleese had narrated. I recently did the blind wine tasting with my service staff at a private club; it was fun, very interactive, and I think most got a kick out of it – even guessing the difference between tasting the disquised red/white wine cup. I think its a great “pass-it-on” video, not something I’d have to go back and watch often.

I love this show. Basic, yes, informative, definately. Cleese makes wine easy to understand and is able to remove the pretention. Nice review!

I love this post and have enjoyed this DVD in the past. Great basic refresher and fun. I must have missed the extras. Will check them out tonight. Thanks, Ken
