Yes Kevin, the light went off unfortunately before you had time to taste all the Chamarre wines. There are actually more to be enjoyed... To tell in a few words how we plan a new evolution of French wines, basically we have created wines that are more approachable in terms of taste, packaging and prices of course. You got it, the idea of the Grande Reserve is to get the best of what France can produce on a single varietal . For example on the Grande Reserve 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, we indeed blend Cabernet Sauvignon from the best appelations of Bordeaux ( in order to get the earthiness of this age old region for making great Cab)with Cab from Southern part of France (where we get the fruit forward approach thanks to more sunny places...) . You can find more about on www.chamarre.com... Look for the butterfly... Cheers . Ed

Congratulations on a detailed and comprehensive report from what can be quite an overwhelming festival experience. You put the rest of the bloggers who attended this event to shame. To SHAME, I say. Cheers!
