The roundup for the last Wine Blogging Wednesday was hardly posted when the next event, WBW #34, was posted.
If you’re unfamiliar with Wine Blogging Wednesday (WBW), here’s a brief description. People from all over the world get together for a themed virtual tasting. Their ratings and tasting notes are collected by that month’s "host," who posts them in a one-post roundup. Anyone can do this. If you don’t have a blog, you send your tasting notes directly to the host. If you have a blog, you write all about your experience and post it. You don’t have to run a wine/food blog either – I did this for months on my personal blog before I started My Wine Education.
June’s hostess is the Wild Walla Walla Wine Woman (Catie) in Walla Walla, Washington. The theme is Washington Cabernet Sauvignon. She’ll give you extra kudos, I’m sure, if you find a wine from Walla Walla and/or if you manage to stay away from old standards like Chateau St. Michelle and Columbia Crest.
