From a Nightline report:
Some scientists think they’ve figured out how to condense the best part of red wine into a pill, leading to youth and health for all. The secret is a magic ingredient called resveratrol.
This group of scientists is pretty passionate about their research, willing to "stake their careers on it," as mentioned in the video.
I’m fine with a pill to extend life, make us feel younger, and such. But I don’t think that’s the problem. I’d much rather a millionaire was investing his funds in finding a cure for cancer or better yet, Alzehimer’s. I don’t quite think this pill is a miracle fix-all.
