Michelle and Kevin, thank you so very much for not only hosting the event and writing-up such a stellar summary, but also for the compliment. The work we did to fashion a mini round-up of our own was purely based on curiosity. Living in Spain offers us the unique sample of people from all over the world who just so happen to have Spanish wine at their fingertips. And regardless as to whether they're native or a foreigner, it is impossible to find someone who doesn't have a personal favorite they love to share with you. For me, what has made this WBW so cool is seeing how many blogs have talked about their discovery of a new Spanish style, grape or wine that they never knew about before. Spain is literally a fountain of potential wines/grapes/styles just waiting to be explored and I can only hope this trend will continue! Thanks again!

Thanks for the welcome! What a great round-up - I really enjoyed reading about other people's picks, what they liked, and what they didn't. This is a great forum, and I look forward to participating again and again.

Thanks, Michelle and Kevin, for the well-organized round-up. It will be easy to pull together a shopping list from among these options! And thanks, too, for emphasizing the importer issue--one thing I always forget in the wine shop when confronted with all those bottles.
