When I go to BW3s, I always order the Naked Tenders. Not only do I prefer them, but the name makes me giggle.
I have the same reaction to WBW #36, hosted by Lenn of Lenn Devours. The goal is to go out and find an unoaked chardonnay. This couldn’t make me happier. I am not a fan of oak, and avoid chardonnay because of it. If I’m in a tasting room and I’m told the chardonnay is unoaked, preferably steel fermented, there’s a damned good chance I"ll buy a bottle. For this particular WBW, I may even be able to dip into the Wine-girl.net cellars. Yay!
Lenn also has other news, including the announcement of a WBW Advisory Committee. This is good, because I’ve wondered how Lenn managed to do this by himself for so long. It’s a lot of work. They’ve also launched WineBloggingWednesday.org, a go-to place for the latest themes and round-ups. (Hopefully they’ll get the link to my round-up posted soon!) One last thing – there’s now a logo contest. It’s time to revise the WBW logo to something new.
Cheers!
