Quick Review: Encore Bistro & Bar

Not too long ago I was maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Encore Bistro & Bar in West Chester. The following Monday, I met the groom and two friends at the same Encore.

Those experiences were my first at Encore, and I was impressed. I enjoyed the dinner menu as well as the luncheon menu. The servers easily handled my peanut/nut allergies as well, which scored big points with me.

I spoke with the manager when we returned for lunch. It sounds like he wants to revamp the wine list with input from his regular customers. I encouraged him to schedule wine tastings or wine dinners, so let’s cross our fingers. It sounds like Encore has gone through a few management changes and is still trying to find its footing. I think they’re on the right track.

Encore has three locations – West Chester, in a strip mall near Meijer’s (don’t let the strip mall fool you), Loveland/Mason (corner of Montgomery & Fields-Ertel), and Wyoming (in the former location of Sturkey’s). Go try it out! Encore is also participating in Restaurant Week, so you can get a three-course dinner for $25.07 from Sept 4 – Sept 7.
