Just a couple things out there right now in which you might be interested in:
MyWinesDirect.com is taking advantage of the YouTube phenomenon with Toast and Roast. You can upload your own video of a great toast, a funny toast, or of course, the unintentionally funny. This portion of the site has just launched, so you can be one of the first. It’s a fun, community sharing sort of thing. Cheers!
Next, you need to know about Harmony Hill’s amazing new contest. For those who don’t know, Harmony Hill is located just up the road in Bethel and are the first winery in Ohio with a Wine Cave. Bill & Patti have just harvested some organically grown blackberries for a new dessert wine. They’re asking you, loyal customers and wine drinkers, to choose a name for the wine. To fit in with their full line, the new name needs a music theme. The winner gets a private sampling of the entire Harmony Hill Collection from the barrel/tank and the first bottle of the blackberry wine. For more information, you can contact Bill & Patti through their web site. Hmm … Blackberry wine ….
And yes, it’s still a slow news week.
