No, I’m not going to write about Lindsay’s latest bad choices or Paris’s latest drink of choice. But I will be writing a print article soon on celebrity-branded alcohol.
I tend to prefer the wine side of things, where celebrities such as Tool’s Maynard James Keenan get hands-on with the winemaking process (Caduceus/Merkin Winery). But there are also other products out there – like the Limoncello to which Danny DeVito so funnily lent his name.
As I gather information over the next month or so, I’ll also have to start sending away for press kits and making an attempt to schedule interviews with famous people. So, what celebrity-branded wines and liquor would you suggest I cover for the article?
Cheers, and happy 2008!

I vote for Maynard (who you already have on your list).
Lorraine Bracco http://www.braccowines.com/
Mick Fleetwood http://www.premiumdistributors.net/Wines.htm
Dan Akroyd reportedly is in the wine production business in Canada and should hit shelves in the US this year.
Fess Parker, who is probably more famous for his wine at this point than for playing Davey Crockett.

Gerard Depardieu
I would leave out Francis Ford Copolla, it’s just been done enough already.
