A Wine Shop at Findlay Market!

It’s about time, yes?
Due to my own time constraints, I’m pretty much going to cut and paste pieces from their press release. But the message is the same. It’s a good place for a wine shop.

Beginning March 29, Market
Wines will open its doors to offer the perfect accompaniment to your
purchases.  Owner Michael Maxwell decided the time was right for
Findlay Market to support an independent wine shop. Maxwell plans on stocking a little
bit of everything, including organic wines and especially those that
pair well with food.  Maxwell
is also considering stocking kosher wines and those produced through
the biodynamic process. 

Market Wines is located at 128 W.
Elder St., directly across from the main Market building.  Hours
of operation are  Tuesday,  Wednesday and Thursday from 9-5,
Friday from 9-6, Saturday from 8-6 and closed Sunday and Monday. 
The phone number is  513-744-9888.  In addition to fine wines,
Market Wines will also stock a selection of micro-brewed and imported
beers and wine accessories.  The shop will also hold monthly wine
tastings.

   I’m excited about the wine shop too…my friend Michael Maxwell is the owner, and he’s never steered me wrong on wine choices. I hope that you enjoy what he’s putting together down there…and even though the grand opening is the 29th, he’s alredy open for business.
