The big deal this week is Restaurant Week, which runs 9/2 through 9/7. Take advantage of a bunch of fantastic restaurants – like Pigall’s – that are offering multi-course dinners for $28.08.

Looking for something else to do this weekend? All the local wineries are open on Saturday and Monday. Check out Henke, Harmony Hill, Meranda-Nixon, and more! Even Kinkead Ridge is open for their annual reds tasting and vineyard tour. Where are these places? Check out our local winery map.

Otherwise, it’s a very slow week due to the holiday. Remember, while some of your favorite wineries are open on Monday, many of your favorite wine shops will be closed. Call first!

This is also the week to RSVP for some future events, including the Gourmet Sensation out in Mason, or if you don’t feel like dropping quite that much cash, try the Wine Dinner at Oceanaire. Julie and I will be getting a preview of that dinner this week, so we can let you know what’s coming. And of course, you’re running out of time to RSVP for our charity tasting at The Party Source.
