I’m off to California again. This time I’m heading to San Jose, just south of San Francisco. It’s a purely business trip this time – and not wine related. In fact, I’m talking about Twitter in a couple of sessions at DevLearn 2008.
It won’t all be business, of course. Tuesday afternoon I’m going for a hike with Russ from Winehiker, and Thursday night I’m getting together with Thea from Luscious Lushes and maybe some other folks. But for the most part, it’s a work function.
While I’m gone, I’ve got a couple of scheduled posts ready to go, including one especially for Cincy Chic readers. Hopefully Kevin will chime in with an occasional beer or spirits post as well. I return home on Saturday, 11/15, and I promise the Friday Wine Events post will return on 11/21.
As some things to look forward to, we’ll be reviewing some rieslings and roses that will be perfect for Thanksgiving, as well as an upcoming Wine Blogging Wednesday. We’re also judging the Wines of the South competition in Tennessee in a couple of weeks, so we’ll let you know about that experience as well. It will be the largest competition we’ve judged so far.
Thanks for your patience with all the travel, and don’t forget to check the Wine Events Calendar whenever you’re itching for a drink!
Cheers!

I’m looking forward to your visit, Michelle. In fact, Thea and I am going to make it our business that your visit truly is wine-related!
