My huge thanks to those of you that stepped forward, either by voting or endorsing me or both, as I tried to land the Really Goode Job.
Alas, the dream job in Sonoma, creating social media for a winery, remains just that: a dream job.
I did not make the Top 50. And while I really am truly crushed about this, I wish those who succeeded well.
In fact, I think it's really cool that 50 folks did make it and I can't wait to find out who gets the Really Goode Job. So a huge congrats to all of you!
Meanwhile, I head to Alaska on Tuesday next week for a long and well-deserved vacation.
And while I still hope that someone looks at me, sees my skills, and realizes I should be marketing for a winery somewhere, I also still love being here in Cincinnati.

I am bummed to hear you didn’t make the top 50. Goode would have def. benefited from your expertise.
Have an amazing time in Alaska!
They are the one’s that are missing out on your amazing talent. I imagine another dream job that you will love even more! Take care, get some rest and enjoy your vacation next week!
Congratulations Michelle!
You are in a key position to really catapult your own strengths to social media summits!
Think about it, the top 50 now have super loads of stress the next two weeks and hardly a chance to escape the “pressure” while the whole wine industry has it’s collective eyeballs peeled to them…
But what we must not neglect is this: In order for MG to succeed, they need US to network with. And the more successful MG is, the more wineries are gonna come up with thier own gigs. The more we help out, build our networks with and around the MG gig, the higher our profiles will be for those *other* wineries…
Your advantage: vacation in Alaska (unplugged! — Even if you don’t loose a second thought about MG over that time, your creative juices will be rejuivinated!), time to come back and methodically build up your strengths, recognize your weeknesses and develope strategies to compensate or eliminate them.
I have no doubt that you will prove to be a huge asset to anyone’s social media campaign…
Michelle, you ran a great race for the short time you had, consider what you can achieve in the next 6 months if you actually PLAN the time?
A.w.e.s.o.m.e.
Have a great, well deserved and relaxing vacation and I look forward to networking with you when you return!
