Great post, Shannan! You’re making me thirsty. I’m going to have to stop and pick something up at this winery on my way to parents house in Corbin, KY at some point. Sounds like a worthwhile stop!

Andi – I am not a big wine drinker but find that I usually like sweeter whites. I would just ask the people at Elk Creek to make a recommendation. I am sure they help people like you and I all the time!
Let me know what it’s like. It’s another Vineyard on our way to Lake Cumberland and I’ve thought about stopping there too.

I have also wondered about those places. I’ve seen them advertised on my day trips and wondered if they were decent places to stop.
That’s a fairly close overnight trip to make to the lake AND to a nice vineyard! Sounds like a good idea!
