We had the Mulderbosch Rose of Cab Sauv last night as an apertif at our WinewomenPSP dinner at Bing Crosby’s (Palm Springs area). Loved its strawberry-sour cherry freshness and gorgeous color!

Great review, thanks. I am all about Rose, and spent a good deal of the summer enjoying many. I love how you can have a fruit forward Rose like Graham Beck versus a dry citrus one like Commanderie de Peyrassol Rose 2008.
I had the 2006 vintage of this wine and reviewed it on my blog last year http://is.gd/4vTXD .. I’ve also spoken about a few others when I did a television segment on Rose wine on Daytime. You can find a link to it on the blog. I try to explain that rose is not white zinfandel, and you can get a nice, structured wine without it being sugary sweet. And for the people who LIKE white zin, something like the Graham Beck can be a good gateway wine from sugar water to fine wine!
