I teach a hospitality program locally and one of the hardest things to do is create interest in a subject.

I think my students would be mesmerized by this film (MJK) and ultimately learn something (winemaking) and not even know it.

I’m a brilliant teacher and sometimes I cheat. –

I remember seeing the trailer for this movie and thinking, "Oh, that sounds interesting. Some obscure musician decided to coax wine from the desert." And then I found out that it was Maynard James Mother****ing Keenan. Lead singer of Tool. Confidante of Tori. Holy hell, I want to see this movie.

This has just set me afire, girl! I love the promotion of wine in nontraditional areas, and passion from a “non-traditional” region just gets me going even more. My region, Vermont, has as many challenges as AZ, perhaps more…but the truely amazing aspect is that we can all talk wine. I would love to see how they resove their regional issues. Thanks

I would love to win a copy of this DVD because I love to hear about wine being grown in non-traditional locations and Arizona is probably about the most non-traditional location in the US I could think of, well besides Alaska. also, I think it’s great to hear about people who follow their dreams – despite the odds – and make it happen. I’d love to see how they are able to grow grapes in an arid, dry, climate like Arizona.

I’ll be blunt–I have never heard of MJK. However, one of my friends is a major, major Tool fan, so when I learned (on Wikipedia just now) who he was and his interest in wine, she practically had a heart attack–she goes nuts over anything even vaguely related to MJK.

So I want to win a copy of this documentary for two reasons: (1) I want to learn more about the challenges of starting a vineyard in Arizona, and (2) I want to see my friend FREAK THE F*** OUT when we watch this documentary together.

I think the concept of wine grapes growing in Arizona is pretty fascinating. It’s certainly not one of the first couple places you think of being a wine growing region. It would be a good companion to Sideways, which I already own.

I don’t think MJK is hot, but I did enjoy Bottleshock and Sideways and I would love to check out this offering.
