My favorite wine for the season? As long as it’s white and sparkling and my uncle is raising a glass of it to make a toast to all 20-some members of my extended family while my cousin’s daughter and the neighbors’ kids run all over my parents’ house … it doesn’t really matter.

My favorite wine at this time of the year is a champagne from Egley-Ouriet. A close second would be a Loire Cab Franc, since it goes so well with so many foods!

Oops! Forgot to tell you why I enjoy it this time of year. My fiance and I enjoy drnking wine by our fire place after all the children are snuggled in their beds. we have 4 : )

So many times I go to the grocery store and everything is dry or bitter. Anything from Vinoklet is amazing. My favorite is La Dolce Vita. It’s a very sweet red. Love going to Vinoklet’s Wine festivals! There is also a winery in Port Clinton Ohio called Mon Ami. There wine is very similar to Vinoklet’s and is also very good. I like their Pink Catawba.

I like any of the lesser known red varietals, though I think my favorite is Cab Franc
